Join independent researcher, palindromist, Fortean theorist
and artist Derek Gunn as he takes you on a journey to the
curious intersection where standing stones, the ancient

Gunn has spoken at many schools, libraries and museums and
before groups such as NEARA, the Massachusetts Archaeological
Society, and the Prince Henry Sinclair 600th Celebration.
In 1993, he began researching Massachusetts UFO reports

stone in an area called Devil’s Hollow in Marshfield.
He has since been active in raising awareness of the importance
of this site and other archaeological oddities from Massachusetts.
He is currently working on his first book Amazing Massachusetts
which will be the culmination of th is research. His art
has been exhibited all over the South Shore and in Boston
and Cambridge. Mr. Gunn is also an a vocational composer

7pm – 9pm; $25, prepay by December 9, 2008 $10
Have you tried to change yourself and nothing works? Are
you looking at the Heavens above and praying for help or

again, just as you were about to have success? Then this
class is perfect for you! In this group we will address
issues, challenges, wants, needs and anything that you choose
to bring to the table! We will use EFT, Emotional Freedom
Technique, a beautiful tool that was based on Ancient Chinese
Medicine and is often called an emotional version of acupuncture,
without needles. It works on the body’s subtle energies
and some call it ‘Energy Psychology’. It is
used by over 5,000 medical doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists,
hypnotists, chiropractors, nurses and healing professionals
worldwide! It is based on the simple belief that the cause
of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s
energy system. Simply put, anything negative you are experiencing
is the result of your energy system. Change that energy
system and you WILL change your life. You will walk out
with clear shifts, even if you never said a word in class,
it’s that powerful!
Come and see why EFT groups are popping up all around the
world!

Cemeteries –Symbolism,
Architecture & Oddities
With Anne Kerrigan of East Bridgewater’s Most
Haunted
Saturday, December 13, 2008
7pm – 9pm; $25, prepay by December 11, 2008 $10
The mysticism of cemeteries either repels
or attracts us. Why is this so? The earliest, and simplest,
definition of a cemetery is “a sleeping place”.
Such a simple definition, really, but from earliest times
the glorification surrounding death has been seen in the
ornate carvings, intricate ironwork, gothic architecture
and unexplained oddities contained in these “sleeping
places”. If you have ever wandered through a cemetery
and wondered about the significance of the carvings on the
stones, the shape of the monuments, or how some strange
things even end up there, you will enjoy this informative
evening! Join host Anne Kerrigan as she delves into New
England cemetery lore and hopefully solves some mysteries.

“What is and is not a Ghost” (Orbs)
With Josh Mantello of Berkshire Paranormal
Saturday, January 31, 2009
7pm – 9pm; $25, prepay by January 29, 2009 $10
The Paranormal Photography lecture is a presentation used
to help not just the general public but also the seasoned
paranormal investigator determine what is and is not a ghost
anomaly in pictures. This presentation covers the 4 basic
types of anomalies typically looked for in pictures after
a paranormal investigation and demonstrates how to look
at and analyze pictures after an investigation that you
think may have a spirit anomaly in it. The presentation
then covers the paranormal picture classification system
developed by Josh Mantello to help apply those found anomalies
to what may and may not be a “ghost” in each
picture. We will then cover the basics of how a camera works
and the different settings on cameras that may falsely cause
anomalies in paranormal pictures and how to prevent such
false anomalies. The presentation then proceeds to show
a series of pictures that Josh has collected over the years;
some of them are fake and have been created by himself to
show some of the common mistakes made by investigators when
calling a picture a “ghost” picture. This part
of the presentation will also include a small amount of
pictures that Josh feels may be paranormal related and are
not fake.

and the different settings on cameras that may falsely cause
anomalies in paranormal pictures and how to prevent such
false anomalies. The presentation then proceeds to show
a series of pictures that Josh has collected over the years;
some of them are fake and have been created by himself to
show some of the common mistakes made by investigators when
calling a picture a “ghost” picture. This part
of the presentation will also include a small amount of
pictures that Josh feels may be paranormal related and are
not fake.

Exorcism
With Linda Marie Weibrecht

What is it ? When do we use it ? Why do we use it ? And,
how do we use it ? These are the questions we will address
in this class. Exorcism is an act or ceremony used to drive
demons or other entities out of a person they have possessed.
In 'Exorcism 101' we will look at the history of this ceremony,
the practitioners of this ancient task, methodology, tools,
and some of the incantations used now and hundreds of years
ago. We will also look at the different case possibilities
that arise to request an exorcism, as well as how to separate
those who seriously need our assistance from those who do
not, and how to apply what we have learned. Exorcism is
a very lengthy and serious subject. The practitioners of
Exorcism gain knowledge from many years of study and experience.
This is only a one day class, and should be considered a
'beginning', a 'foundation', or an 'entry level' session
being taught to give you an understanding of what exactly
is ahead of you if you decide to continue learning and exploring
this ancient practice.
