Michael J. Baker
Founding Partner
Born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1971, Mike
Baker took an interest in the world of entertainment at the
early age of 15 when he joined a local rock group and began
studying music. After 14 years he had successfully established
himself in the local music scene as not only a competent musician,
but also as well respected musical instrument technician,
repairing and restoring guitars for such artists as Billy
Joel and Eric Clapton.
"For
me, working with film allows for a much greater level
of artistic creativity in comparison to photography
or music production. It's almost like building a house
instead of just painting a picture of one."

In January 2001, following
a 2 year stint as professional disc jockey, his interests
shifted to the world of video and in September of 2001 he
founded Digital
3 Media, a commercial and wedding video production company.
In 2006, in a effort to express a more creative side of video
production, he and long-time friend, Anthony Monti, co-founded
New Gravity Media and began production on
the company's very first feature film "14
Degrees".

Z. Monti
Founding Partner
Born in Waltham, Massachusetts in 1971. At
the age of 15 he met Mike through a mutual friend; several
years later they formed a Journey cover band. As a teenager,
Anthony, took an interest in electronics and technology. Specifically
computers, digital imaging, infrared cameras and audio/video
equipment.
"I
like to think that I bring a technical aspect to our
films that are radical but also compliment the vision
that Mike brings. I also enjoy writing dramatic and
comedic short stories." |
Anthony, still holds a part-time day job as
a computer technician working on legacy Digital computer equipment,
and still finds time to add to his vast collection of electronic
junk.
